The Last Week...

Its here... I get to squeeze my cute family in 9 more sleeps!!!! Ahhhhh I cannot wait! I love North Carolina and can promise tears when i leave this great state! But I am SOO EXCITED to be with my fam here really soon!!!!

This week kinda felt like every other week... they are all blending together at this point. Going on day 41 inside... BUT I was so incredibly blessed to be visited by two of the women who have changed my life forever this week! Sister Brenda Black and Ruth Villareal! I can honestly say that these amazing women have helped me though my mission at the times I needed it the most and will forever be life long friends and role models to me!  Such a bitter sweet thing having so many goodbyes to say... but one of my fav quotes I've seen on my mission in a members bathroom (where all profound quotes are found) says "goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. Goodbyes just simply mean, until we meet again! I am SO BLESSED!

We had the fun opportunity to have a zoom activity with the young women and we taught them how to make an origami ninja star and doing secret service for our families... like a ninja of course!

We finally had first transfer training for sister poulson, even though she is almost done with her second transfer, but better late than never:) it was so good! I got more motivated about the whole quarentine. President Holland told us that "now is not the time to be sitting around watching origami tutorials" hahahaha sister poulson and I looked at each other and she said to me, "did he just call us out?! How did he know?" So much for making an origami with the yw anymore Haha.

We had a mission zoom call LATE Friday night because we have exciting mission news... Elder Bednar is speaking to us tomorrow!! We get to have a zoom call with him, which is as close as we will get to having him speak to us in person.  We are all very excited for that! But before President Holland even told us about it, he did a cooking tutorial and taught us how to make a "perfecto egg" Haha I love him and will miss him and his wife so much!

Cheers to my last week as a full time missionary! What an amazing time of life to get to see the hand of the lord in moving his work forward no matter the current circumstances!

Be good this week!
I'll see you soon!!
