Hello from FREEZING NC!
This week has been a ROLLERCOASTER to say the very least!
I have had some of my hardest days this week, but I have learned so much about the Savior and his ability to heal us!
The agency of others can be a tricky thing and I have come to find out that we are never in control of our life, no matter how badly we wish we were!
3 Nephi 25:2 "...the Son of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings..." he wants to heal, his purpose is to help us.
Alma 7:11-13
11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.
13 Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me.
He knows us he loves us and wants to help us! And HE WILL, as we turn to him!
Life long lesson and I am thankful I am able to learn things like this here in NC!
It was super chilly and we decided to go contact people on our phones and get hot chocolate, and we met Braydens friend at Starbucks which was great!
Everybody knows someone who is a member of our church or learning about the church and I'm so thankful for that as a missionary! The interactions we have with people and the Christlike love that members show to their friends helps others know who we are and what our church represents!
It has started to feel like Christmas already! We are so excited for the light the world program for 2019! The theme is One by One! Go the Lighttheworld.org and Sign up early for daily texts with ways to Light The World this December.
We cannot wait to get the members and people we are teaching involved this year!
We saw agnes for the first time in forever and went out to get dinner with her, while we were there she was being a little missionary and telling us we should invite people to church that worked at the restaurant! The funniest part about it, is that she doesnt even come to church hahaha!
Brayden had an amazing trip to Utah, went and saw temple square and loved it... and slowly but surely is getting more prepared each week!
Maddie and I are besties so she always wants me to braid her hair! I love that little stink! Keep her in your prayers!
Dont have too much else to say this week! Just want to let you all know how much I love you and this gospel!
Hope you all have an amazing week!
Love Sister Kinne. :))
