HOLY COW! GUYS... DID YOU LISTEN YO CONFERENCE?!?! WAS YOUR LIFE CHANGED??? BECAUSE MINE SURE WAS! How extremely blessed are we that we were handpicked from the premortal life to be alive at this exciting time where living prophets and apostles can help us survive spiritual in a sin sick world! We have holy temples that allow us to make promises with God that ensure us happiness in this life and the life to come! We have THE LITTERAL POWER OF GOD ON THE EARTH through the priesthood! I cannot think of a more lucky bunch in history! I'd love to share some of my insights and thoughts I got during conference.... but first SHOUT OUT TO MY MISSION PRESIDENT MATTHEW S. HOLLAND, who was just called as a general authority 70.... so sadly he will be leaving NC on July 1 to fulfill this new calling the Lord has for him.... NC is losing the finest mission president on the earth... but he has great things ahead! Sister poulson and I were like kids before Christmas this week waiting to hear the messages of the prophet and apostles. We moved our mattress out into the living room and had a 2 night conference slumber party (as if every night wasnt already lol). We felt the spirit so strong as we listened and watched together!
Okay... conference conclusions...
• I LOVE RUSSELL M NELSON AND SUSTAIN HIM AS THE LORDS PROPHET ON THE EARTH!
• Joseph Smith was Forordained to bring about the restoration of Christs church back to the earth!
• The Atonement of Jesus Christ RESTORES ALL THAT IS BROKEN!
• We all have specific roles to fulfill in Gods kingdom and our gender is part of that role.
• We access the priesthood as we keep our covenants.
• We must teach the youth, then get out of their way.... (one of my favorite talks)
• When we pray we can pray with a smile on our face, knowing we are talking to our loving father.
• Not every trial we face will have the outcome we wish for, but we can still find hope in Christ.
• Everyday we live is of value!
• Focus on new habits rather then old!
• Take time during the closure of the temple to see it as a time of renewal rather then closure. We can do the same with ourselves during this time of self isolation.
• CHRIST CAME TO PAY A DEBT HE DIDNT OWE, BECAUSE WE HAD A DEBT WE COULDNT PAY.
• We cannot sit and wait,we must go and do.
• Unity is essential, but it takes effort!
• We must choose to do hard things well.
• The light we have is based off our willingness to receive truth!
• April 10th, good Friday, is the perfect day for God to hear us!
• Intentionally shine your light, and he will magnify your efforts.
• JEFFERY R. HOLLANDS TALK WAS AMAZING (as usual). We did not come this far to only come this far!
• Thousands and thousands of people have sacrificed and worked to build Zion, and we get to see it come forth and have the privilege of participating in it!
• We have been given a Restoration Proclamation and I cannot wait to study it!
• We grow by suffering and adversity rather than comfort!
• The sealing power is the highest and holiest of all the powers we have on this earth!
• We can feel joy regardless of what is happening around us... Jesus is the refuge.
• God doesnt have favorites.
• Gods project is our eternal JOY!
• A lack of interest today, could have have changed to interest tomorrow... never stop asking.
• And 8 new amazing, beautiful, holy houses of God announced in various places in the world! Including China...Dubai... and Syracuse. Which I am very excited about!
And after all that... I know this church is true and I am so glad to be representing it for these next few weeks... I may be stuck in my apartment... but I know the Lord has plans bigger then me that I just cant quite see!

In addition to conference this week I had the chance to write some letters to some amazing women who have impacted me on my mission and reflect on so many wonderful things I have learned and gained on this journey I started nearly 18 months ago! I'm so thankful for my mission, the people I have met and the ways I have been able to change! I also got the chance to start working on MY PLAN, preparing to return home in just 4 short weeks...crazy... BUT it has been so insightful and inspiring to participate in as I make plans for the person I want to become after my mission and for the rest of my life!
Also we have taken upon ourselves the art of flower pressing and I decided to make myself a new journal with some of my favorite flowers from my favorite state!
I cant wait to see the miracles that come from the fast this week and hope that you all will be able to participate... I know we will see miracles as we do this in faith!
