18 months...WHAT?! I cannot believe it, time flies when your having fun I guess! But dont worry you still have 2 more weekly emails to look forward to before this sister is back in the 801!
This week was weird... not much happened... at all... quarantine kinda makes you loose track of what day and time it is, which is the absolute opposite of a regular workday as a missionary where EVERY min is planned and is intentional. It's still intententional... just in a different way.
Something new and exciting this week was virtual exchanges, we facetimed 2 companionships of the awesome sisters here in the goldsboro zone, so that was cool.
We have been talking to a recent convert daily and reading the scriptures and he has been a referal giving machine... the gospel has changed his life so extremely that all the people online can tell a difference in HIS VOICE! THE GOSPEL CAN LITTERALLY CHANGE YOUR VOICE, HOW YOU SEE LIFE ITS AMAZING! And his online friends notice and he shares the Book of Mormon with them! So we are hoping to start teaching them soon :)
We are trying to help build our Facebook here for missionaries in the area and got asked to take some pics of missionaries so I'll attach some, that was fun!
I got to have my departing interview this last week with President Holland and that was such a sweet experience for me! I LOVE THAT MAN! He is amazing and I am so blessed to have spent this time here in NC under his direction and I am excited to continue to live the gospel and the things I learned on my mission to the rest of my life!
And we got to hear from him again on Sunday, for our mission's Facebook live event. This week it was Presidnet Holland talking about Abraham Lincoln and how the bible influenced and helped him through difficult times. It was super cool and reached A TON of people, if you're interested in watching, let me know and I can send you the link:)
