Hello! Guys this week was a good one!
Daniel got baptized! Starting february out on a great note! Casey his dad baptized him and WHAT A NEAT AND SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE. He is a Green Beret in the Army and at the end of the service he was in tears! Sister Simmons and I got to sing while they changed and it was so fun! Such a neat experience to have their whole family there who are not all members and I know that the spirit was really strong! BEAUTIFUL DAY!
We went on exchanges with the Chinese sisters and had tons of fun! Sister Jang and Hong came to apex with me! We had tons of fun together! They are both such powerful teachers of the gospel it was pretty amazing to hear their testimonies as we taught together! And we taught some pretty tough cookies!
MCCALL!! OKAY SO MCCALL IS AMAZING!! Sister Smith and I met McCall way back when and recently had the chance to go over and get to know her a little more and HOLY COW! both her and her husband were/are Seminary students at Boston University! THEY ARE GENIUS PEOPLE! She is reading the Book of Mormon and analyzing the crap out of it! I've read the Book of Mormon for 20 years and never picked up on some of the things she is getting! It is pretty amazing! So please pray for her she will be a gospel doctrine teacher one day!!
JUAN!! OKAY HE IS DOING AWESOME! He came to church 3 weeks in a row! He fasted this Sunday as well! The ward members are fellowshipping him amazingly! HE HAS BEEN PREPARED FOR THE GOSPEL! It is pretty remarkable the things that people are willing to change in their life to feel closer to the Savior! It reminds me each time how important this work truly is!
Lanshi is doing okay we hit a rough patch of doctrine for her this week! BUT is still on date :)
MLC WAS THIS WEEK AND IT WAS SOO GOOD!!!!! I learned SOOO MUCH!!! It was all about the importance of asking inspired questions and HOLY COW! NOT ONLY HAS THIS CHANGED THE WAY WE DO MISSIONARY WORK! BUT IT HAS CHANGED THE WAY I SEE PEOPLE! Questions are how you build trust in all kinds of relationships, friends, companions, spouses and children! LEARNING LIFE SKILLS HERE IN NC!
This week was a hard one for me, but there are so many things in my life that I am so blessed with that it is hard to complain! I love the Scriptures, I love getting to share the gospel full time!
Hope that you all enjoy the pics because 15 months in, we both know that's all you look at ;)
ME in a fancy trench coat and a mermaid tail! I have way TOO much fun when I go to amy's. :)
LOTS OF LOVE
Sister Kinne
