WOW this last week in dec was BEAUTIFUL!!! We have been enjoying high 60s and low 70s in the middle of winter and oh my goodness I could NOT be happier! A local church however wanted a white Christmas and sets off a snow machine every Christmas eve so NATURALLY we HAD to pull over and take a pic!
I feel so, SO blessed to be here at this time of year with amazing people! TRANSFERS ARE TOMORROW AND SURPRISE SISTER KINNE WILL BE IN APEX ANOTHER TRANSFER! I'm so happy to be here, the work is SO busy and the members are amazing! (I kinda would really love to move back here after my mission 
, BUT we'll see.)
I have 3 Transfers left and I have had sometime this week to reflect on how quickly my mission has passed by and trying to hold on to every hour of everyday I have left!
MADDIE GOT BAPTIZED!!!! We are SO extremely happy for her and her mom for the light that we have seen enter their lives these last few months! They have become my family and I love them like they are! FUNNY ENOUGH MY FAMILY was able to go to her baptism in utah and it was so special for them to be there in my place! How many times can you say your parents got to go to one of your baptisms!
We also had the neat opportunity to teach in president hollands home again this week, but this time it was a sweet mother of a recent convert! Originally from China, the manderin speaking sisters have been teaching her for a while, but just recently referred her to us and it has been an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
I have never seen someone want to believe something so much! She has such a willing heart and so kind! We are excited to see her progress in her testimony these next few weeks!
Kinda neat, I would consider miracle, experience happened to me this week. I am notorious for having migraines that put me out for most of the day, I had tried taking a nap on our lunch break but that didn't help. So I tried to power through the day, but it continued to get worse and worse and I couldn't hardly eat my dinner. Luckly the sweet members who were feeding us dinner was nice enough to notice something was wrong and offered to give me a head massage, So that was nice, But did not help at all! BUT we had an appointment with LanShi and I was not going to miss it so I prayed really hard that Heavenly Father would allow me to be able to teach even though I could hardly open my eyes, AND I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN WE WENT INTO THE LESSON MY MIGRAINE WENT FROM LIKE A 9 TO A 4 IT WAS INSANELY AMAZING! I know that Heavenly Father sustained me through that and thankful that even though I was not feeling good the spirit could still use me to teach!
Brayden was able to receive the aaronic priesthood this week and go to the temple this week! We are so proud of him and the progress he has been making as he follows the example of Jesus Christ! His sweet girlfriend is in town too so we got to spend some fun time with them :)
Members have been amazing this week at inviting their friends over when we are there! on FOUR separate occasions members jumped on the opportunity to have their friends come meet us as we shared a message and it was SO neat!
One of them was an invite to come make some food with some Cuban friends so we got to learn how to make CONGREES ( i think thats how you spell it??) and then teach about the plan of salvation! We have another appointment with them tonight so wish us luck!
I just started reading The Book of Mormon again along with the come follow me guide and i am SO PUMPED!!!! This year is gonna be a good one.
