Transfers were this week and since sister mills was training we had to go early! So sister browning and I and a few other sets of missionaries got the chance to go to a large outdoor mall in Raleigh and contact it was so much fun!! We talked to a bunch of people and placed a book of mormon so that was just awesome!
Then we got back to the church and got our new companion assignments! My new comp is sister Hansen! She is from queens creek Arizona and is so so sweet! We have had a blast learning to work hard a love the people out here!!
Something pretty amazing that happened this week was that we got 6 referrals! I've probs gotten 6 referrals my whole mission so to get that many in a week was awesome! It has been super hard to catch up with them but hopefully will have a report on them next week!
OKAY SO we were having a coordination meeting at brother Nguyen's house (coolest guy) and as we were meeting on his back porch it was getting dark and I started seeing these lights appear and disappear at first I thought I was going crazy and then I realized THEY WERE FIREFLIES!!! AHHHHH I LOVE THE SOUTH!!! I was so happy it just made my night!!
So since we had no car this week we asked a member, sister woods to take us to Walmart so we could get some food for the week! Sister woods is a pathway missionary, and someone we have known/trying to teach for a while is trying to go to collage so while we were with her we decided to call him, his name is Danny. Crazy enough he was riding his bike right past us in the Walmart parking lot! Hahah so we decided we would all go out and get smoothies and talk about the pathway program, but it turned into an awesome lesson on the atonement of jesus christ! Danny is a pretty stubborn guy and pretty catholic but we still love him and know that one day he will eventually want to follow the example of jesus christ and his dad (who is a recent convert) and be baptized.
Kenzie our super recent convert was asked to give a talk in sacrament meeting and asked us to come over and help her so we biked over and as we were on our way we see the wall of rain right in front of us! There was no avoiding it! We got to kenzies and our shoes our bags our everything was DRIPPING WET! So kenzie and her super sweet aunt got us some of their clothes to borrow while we threw ours in the dryer. While we helped her with her talk!
Chris and ana have been doing good! We have been trying to get them to meet as many members as possible so each lesson we are working on bringing someone new. This week we had bridgette, a yw who just graduated, and sister Nilsson come! We had two awesome lessons with them this week! The 2nd lesson we had their roommates wanted to join in and it was honestly one of the most spiritual lessons I have ever had on my mission! As we addressed her questions i felt a love for this sweet girl morgan and her husband pedro that i had for my own family! She opened up to us about some things in her past and allowed the spirit to be there to teach! It was truely an amazing experience and I know the spirit touched everyone there! They also came to church!! Morgan has a bit of anxiety and has a service dog to help with that so Sunday mid meeting they roll up into sacrament meeting with a stroller... with her dog in it! During sacrament meeting you could hear this kids yelling! I want the puppy! Hahahah
One day this week we had to take a pretty long bike ride to one of the places we serve at and while we were down there we decided because we were so far from home to just stay there until we needed to head back for dinner! So as we were headed into downtown sister kinne hits a bump on the sidewalk, (by the way Fayetteville actually doesn't have sidewalks or bike lanes and if they do they haven't been touched for like the last 60 years so they are pretty beat up) and POP! My front bike tire was gone. So we bike the rest way into town and then called the Roger's to come help us out! LIFE SAVERS THEY ARE! And speaking of life savers this week we were in the right place at the right time! We were headed to a bible referal with one of our members, sister John, and as we were pulling into the apt complex we see these two old women one sitting in a Walker the other pushing her and before we knew it BOOM the one pushing fell and knocked them both face first on the ground! We jumped out of the car as quick as we could to try to help. They were both bleeding and all shaken up! We felt so bad, but helped them get situated and good to go. We definitely know heavenly father directs us to the places we need to be at the right time, bc it could have been a long while before someone could have gotten to them to help.
We are helping our ward build the next focus for this quarter of the year and we are so excited! There is so much inspiration happening within this ward on how we can further the work and it is all focused on missionary work and service! If you haven't read or listened to elder uchtdorfs talk from this last conference I highly recommend that you do! It is so inspiring and something that every member should have as a part of their life!

I know that as you do simple things In your life to center yourself more on christ you will be able to have more happiness and light in your life!!
I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! Even on the days when I am exhausted and wet I am so happy to be here serving the people of NC and trying my best to represent the Savior! We met this lady at one of the places we serve at and she had this awesome tee shirt that read
"B.O.S.S
Bold
Obedient &
Submitted to the
Savior "
So with that I hope everyone has a B.O.S.S week!
I love you all and would love to hear from you!
Love Sister Kinne
