One for the books

Ladies and gents this week was one for the books!
Lots of things happend, it feels like this week was a lifetime long! Time is the weirdest thing out here days feel like weeks and weeks feel like months but looking back 6 months feels like a day! If that even makes sense hahah.
We got a ton of referrals this week which has been a big blessing!
We had so much fun this week with one of the less active part member families in the ward playing volleyball! It was such a blast they invited the elders and some other people from the ward were at the church when we got there so it was one big fellowshiping volleyball party!
The word of wisdom lesson has been our jam lesson these days. I feel like I could run an addiction recovery program at this point. Annette, sissy and veronica are all committed to living the word of wisdom so keep them in your prayers!
Thursday is where the good stuff starts. We had dinner with brother Terry, and because there is no sister Terry we needed a woman. So we invited Anastasia, who we are teaching and told her that after dinner she can go back and get her roommates and come to gospel study. So we call her when we get to brother Terry's and she says "we are almost there". So WE start freaking out! Like there cant be 4 additional people coming to dinner. So when they all roll up in a car and one of the roommates named buddy on a moped. We are going crazy trying to figure out what to do. We almost skipped out on dinner. Thankfully they go to dinner at McDonald's and we had a peaceful meal with brother Terry. But then after dinner they are nowhere to be found and we have to be on time for gospel study cause we are the teachers. So after calling Chris we find out that they might have gotten in a fight and they are now on their way. So we are waiting and waiting and waiting. Then buddy shows up on another moped and Steve is on the back. But Chris is nowhere to be found and he has the car. So when he finally shows up we drive to gospel study super fast and pray that everything will go well but then halfway through the class buddy starts treating the class like it's an addiction recovery class and it kinda just goes crazy after. But we made prayer rocks and it was all good.

On Sunday I had the chance to go out on splits with sister Stevenson from the Fayetteville ward and it was so fun. A mission has really taught me that it does not take too much time to grow a love for people I have come to love so much the people here in Fayetteville so much! Sister Stevenson was a fantastic companion for the day and I was so inspired to be around her.
