8 months!!

Howdy from Sunny NC we have yet survived another week on the bikes haha! In all truthfulness i love being on a bike no matter how silly it may look and how big the hills may be it is super fun and super hot! One thing i will say though is that sister Kinne and the bugs here do not get along! MY LEGS ARE COVERED in bug bites! Hahah NC just has massive bugs.

I have never written and stuck so many sticky notes in my life haha sister Hansen has a bit of a sticky not obsession and so we have gone door to door working on hitting every members house. which has been a blast! I was also having another bit of a hard week and she sticky note attacked me which was super thoughtful of her!

There were many strange things that happened to us here in Fayetteville this week and many spiritual...

Lets start with the spiritual.

We were at our ward mission leaders house and before they went to put the kids to sleep we had family scripture study out of Come Follow Me! If you arnt doing it every week I encourage you to! we were reading in john 19:34 "But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water." One of the kids asked why water? Brother Nguyen went on to explain how the water was a result of a literal broken heart! I cannot believe how much the Savior loves us! That is something that I am slowly coming to understand on my mission, the love that the Savior has for each of us so much no matter who you are and no matter what you have done! HIS LOVE IS EXTENDED TO US ALWAYS!!

We have really focusing making impactful testifying contacts daily! Sister Hansen and i set out one morning with a goal in mind and many crazy things happened, like sister Hansens bike tire popped and the rogers came and picked us up fixed her bike, then they took us to a bible referral. which was a blessing because it was wayyyy to far for us to bike hahah! but becasue all those crazy things happened in the 11th hour right before we were going to turn in for the night we had 1 contact left and were able to see a sweet women outside working in her yard so we stopped and chatted with her about how we know the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring happiness. :) heavenly father always provides as we set goals and do all we can to achive them! He will make up for the rest!

I NEED YOU ALL TO LISTEN TO THIS AMAZING DEVOTIONAL CALLED " THE MISSIONARY NEXT DOOR BY DIANA HOELSCHER" IT IS SO AMAZING AND FUNNY!!!! It is about an hour long! the perfect amount of time as you are getting ready in the morning or on a drive to work. IT IS SO INSPIRING! AH YALL YOU NEED TO LISTEN!

Okay now onto the strange...

So we went to do service at a less active members house and one of the cars in the driveway had a license plate with ferrets on it and i made a comment and she said do you want to see them.... WHAT? sure hahah so then she let us hold her pet ferrets! lol.

On a sadder note Chris who we have been teaching for a while got put in jail... We are sad but he just couldn't keep the word of wisdom so that is what lead him to jail in the first place. We went the next day with bishop and offered Anastasia (his girlfriend) a blessing to help her know what she needs to do.

Another person we have been teaching named ryan decided to come out to us and share some unpleasant personal experiences with us... then decided to drop us for an LGBTQ church sooooo there is that!

Sister Kinne could use some prayers right now if you get the chance! I love you all and would love love love to hear from you all! Missionary work is the best share this great gospel with your friends!
