OKAY FIRST OF ALL I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I AM TO BE STUDYING THE BOOK OF MORMON WITH THE ENTIRE CHURCH!!! I have loved it so far and I am so excited to hear all of the things you are learning from it! Send any insight or things you are learning my way, I would love to hear it!
This week was great! I hit 14 months yesterday and I am quickly realizing how short a time I have left on my mission. CRAZY!!! I love the people here in North Carolina and how much I love the message of the restored gospel, I honestly don't know what my life would look like without it. We had a great week of lessons and visits with people we are teaching and my heart just continues to grow for the love of the people and the gospel.
Funny story we are teaching this cute couple, part member family, and they speak spanish for their first language and their fellowshipper served his mission in brazil and speaks portuguese. There was a point in the lesson where the spirit was there and we were about to extend an invite to them and the member said something in portuguese that DID NOT translate correctly to spanish and they started busting up laughing... We had NO CLUE what was going on but apparently he said something really bad in spanish.. Oops We were all DYING but had no clue what was going on, But Ray though his laughing told us that the holy spirit just ran away... BUT IT WAS ALL GOOD, we brought it back in but just thought id share that fun memory from this week.
We biked a lot this week, but honestly with this weather how can I complain, I actually love it!
LANSHI IS ON DATE!!! Its super far out but we are so excited for her and cant wait to see her grow closer to the Savior she is my cute chinese mom :)
We had MLC this week, PRESIDENT HOLLAND IS THE BEST!!! He is so inspired and works so closely with this spirit to run this mission it is amazing!!!
I feel EXTREMELY blessed to be a missionary at this time and want to use all the time I have to be a full time servant of my Savior to the Fullest!
