Hello from the beautiful chilly state of NC! Things are starting to cool down and it is so beautiful! We had a tough week this week! Everything that could have gone wrong... did... BUT it's all good through it all Sister Smith and I came out with smiles on top!
We went on double exchanges this week! Tuesday I got to go with Sister Forsberg to the Cary 1st ward and we had a blast biking up and down the streets and greenways in Cary!
Then the next day I got to bike around Apex with Sister Larsen! She is brand new to the NCRM from Ogden and so sweet we had a blast together! I love getting to meet all the amazing Sisters here in North Carolina and hear their beautiful testimonies!
I have OFFICIALLY been a missionary for a full year!! This last year has been a wild ride, Crazy ups and crazy downs. I have changed so much and have grown in love for the gospel of Jesus Christ!

We last minute got asked to speak at a baptism yesterday for an 8 year old in the ward! After the baptism we were talking to some of the family friends and a girl named Aubrey asked us how she could get baptized... so we are going to start teaching her this week!
We had stake conference and it was so powerful! President Holland and our AMAZING stake President spoke and it was all about missionary work! THE PLACE WAS ON FIRE WITH THE SPIRIT!! We are so excited!
In the news of murphy's law Sister Smith got bit by a dog, we got kicked out of a farmers market, some guy at service called us "loser mormons" (little does he know we aren't even mormons;), someone who wanted to meet with us turned out to give us a fake name and number, we lost the sticky note with a potential info on it, and none of our people want to meet with us anymore.. BUT IT'S ALL GOOD!! WE ARE KEEPING THE FAITH!! It's just apart of the hills and valleys of the work! OPPOSITION IN ALL THINGS (2 nephi 2:11)
In pday news today Sister Buchavich, our ward mission leaders wife took us to the NC state fair today and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!! We had all the southern things like roasted corn, bbq sundae, lemon ice cream, kettle corn, banjo music, hush puppies, pig races IT WAS A BLAST!!!
Pray for us this week Apex really needs it! I have faith things will turn up soon!
We have the mission tour this week as well so we are super excited about that!
Love you all and as always I love being a Sister! I'm gonna try to soak up these next 6 months while I can :)
