Hello! This week is was a good one!
I tell you I've never been more busy in my life! We have 1000 things to think about at the same time in preparation for the temple ... BUT SOMEHOW we did it... and the Lord provided us with miracles! Agnes and Brayden are both on date, and we found 2 more people to teach this week!
It was my old man's birthday this week, and I got to call and talk to him! I'm so thankful for my dad in my life and the amazing example he is to me of a worthy priesthood holder... and someone who ALWAYS knows how to have fun and make ya laugh! Couldnt have asked for a better example and Father!
Speaking of Fathers... we got to watch the young adult face to face and I learned so much about my Heavenly Father! I learned that he loves us very much, even when we make mistakes! He is always there with his arms out stretched always willing to accept us and help us become better then we are!
Some other things I learned in the face to face from some of the questions that were asked...
THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE! Turn our heart to the Lord and try everything possible! We all make mistakes!
There are things that we can do... then there are things that God can do!!
We can Repent, and the Lord can forgive.
The grace of the lord is there before, during, and after!
When trying to overcome trials it's MORE about our relationship with the Lord, rather then the trial or temptation.
If you saw the price the brethren paid to receive revelations you would have less doubts.
What do you do to keep hope and faith when you arnt seeing the blessing that are supposed to come?
• If the savior is the center of our life we should always have hope!
• We can not give a schedule to the lord for our answers!
• We can not condition of our faithfulness based on the quickness of our answers.
He will come to you, now, later or on the other side of the veil.
Trust in Gods love!
In his perfect love he understands all sorrow and all pain.
Make sure our decision are aligned with gods plan for us and the rest will fall into place!!
There was a music festival going on in downtown Apex this week and so with the temple coming up we went down for about 4 hours and contacted well over 100 people and invited them to the temple! IT WAS AMAZING!!!! We couldnt be more excited for these next few weeks and to see peoples lives change because of the temple!
Next week my pday will be split up between Wednesday and Friday because of the temple!
I LOVE being a missionary and seeing the Lord work his miracles here in Apex!
Sorry I dont have too many pictures this week!
Love Sister Kinne:)
