LAST P-DAY IN THE MTC!

HOLY COW HOW THE TIME FLIES HERE!!!

Lots of stuff happened this week! It is all kindof a blur but it was so fun and soooo good in so many different ways!

First thing first... every Tuesday night the MTC puts on a devotional for us with someone from "Salt Lake" (aka someone high up in the church) and i guess it had been a minute since an apostle had been there so we had the honor of hearing from Elder Soares and his cute wife Rosana!! (He is a member of the 12) and it was amazing they brought the spirit so strong! Some of the things they said that stood out to me the most was that " In lifewe are not humans going through spiritual experiences, but rather we are spiritual beings going through human experiences." I really liked that because its so true we were sent to this earth to be human but sometimes we forget our eternal power and life that we posses, this life is so short so we shouldn't get caught up in the things of this world and see ourselves as our heavenly father knows and loves us as. Another thing that he said that really struck me is that when the 12 and the prophet meet every Thursday in the temple the very first thing they pray about is the missionaries! ISN'T THAT SO COOL!! Literally the prophet is praying for me and that gives me so much strength knowing that i can draw on the power of his prayers and all of yours at home i can truly feel the blessings that come from them.

We had our last lesson with joe this week and are sad we arnt teaching him anymore but im excited and hope that he is still feeling the spirit and growing in the gospel as more amazing missionaries teach him! IN SUPER EXCITING NEWS we got a new TRC this week her name is Breanne and i love her so so so much!!! we had two lessons this week with her the first we taught about the restoration and she was super interested about the atonement, and being clean so our next lesson we taught on the doctrine of Jesus Christ and guess what...... We invited her to be baptized if she found for herself that the book of Mormon was true.....and guess what else.... SHE SAID YES!!!!! AHHHHH When we left her room we couldn't get the smiles off our faces we were sooooo happy for her and her choice!!!! I was so scared to ask her but i felt the Holy Ghost Push me to ask her because she is so ready to accept this gospel! That was our last official meeting with her so we are going to try to arrange a time with her durring one of our studies to give her the rest of the lessons! so ill let you know how that goes!!

Everyday still is the same breakfast, class, lunch, study, workout, study dinner, class but its so fun! Our teachers are pushing us harder and harder to be better and work outside our comfort zone which is awesome! This time next week ill have been in Raleigh one day which is insane!! Im kinda sad to be leaving here and all the friends and memories but i'm excited to see what kind of new experiences await in the Field!

Something our teachers taught us in class one day was that if an average member at home studied their scriptures for 30 min a day (and that a good member) it would take them 16.5 years to get as much studying done as a sister missionaries get in 18 months!!! and 20 years for elders!! That insane!! but for how much time we spend in our scriptures it makes sense! So that' another thing to look forward to is 16.5 years worth of scripture study hahahah.

ALSO i forgot to mention in my last email that we got called as sister training leaders so it has been fun, we get to welcome and give tours to all the new elders and sisters in our zone, we got 28 this week and we get 16 more this week!!!!! CRAZYYY BUT SO GOOD lots of people to further the work!!!
